Chiropractor
Dr. Miguel Salgado-Gonzales
Dr. Miguel Salgado-Gonzales is an Ashland native. He has a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon, and a Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine from the University of Western States. He recently moved back to Ashland after practicing in Boise, Idaho. He is excited to be reacquainted with the area and give back to the community that helped chart his course towards Chiropractic Medicine. Dr. Miguel believes in a whole-body approach to treating his patients. Therefore, his individually tailored treatments incorporate a combination of chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy and rehabilative corrective exercises. He works with his patients to improve what he believes to be the four pillars of health: exercise, nutrition, sleep, and emotional wellbeing. Dr. Miguel’s intention is to promote a pain-free, function-oriented lifestyle so his patients can focus on their goals rather than their limitations. In his free time, Dr. Miguel enjoys trail running, camping, and eating at local restaurants with friends and family.

Chiropractor
Dr. Noah Volz
Dr. Volz grew up in a holistic household which helped him recognized the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. This inspired him to pursue his career in healthcare in 2018 after graduating from Life West Chiropractic. His desire is to not only alleviate your pain, but to discover why it started and fix the root cause through looking at all aspects of everyday life; environment, nutrition, exercise, and posture. He will take the time to evaluate each patient to locate the misalignment pattern unique to them and help them heal.

He is a member of the NUCCA, National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association, a gentle and safe form of chiropractic care that focuses on permanent results. It reactivates the transmission of healing messages from the brain to the affected part of the body via the nervous system so the body’s natural self-healing process can begin.

Healing takes a partnership of trust between the patient and their provider. With Dr. Volz’s extensive knowledge, techniques, and styles, he ensures you will receive the top treatment plan by working together on the best approach in getting you back to doing the things you enjoy most.

While not at work, Dr Volz enjoys yoga, reading a good book, backpacking, and riding his bike.

Licensed Acupuncturist
Gabriel Govendo
Gabriel Govendo MSOM, L.Ac. believes in a comprehensive approach to health. He uses acupuncture, herbs, bodywork, nutrition, and lifestyle consultation to help facilitate greater balance and thus greater health in the patients he treats.
Gabriel is a strong proponent of integrative medicine. Before moving to Southern Oregon, he practiced at an integrative clinic in the Greater Boston area. Gabriel is a graduate of Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and a former apprentice to Takayuki Koei Kuwahara, a master of Japanese Meridian Therapy.
Grateful for the teaching he has received, he strives to be the best practitioner he can be, studying with other luminaries in the field, and continually developing his own approach. Gabriel’s practice includes treatment for fertility, pregnancy, pediatrics, internal medicine, and musculoskeletal issues.
Helping people feel, greater ease and connection within themselves is Gabriel’s way to foster peace in the world. For him, that is the essence of the inter-connectivity that is embraced by holistic medicine. Likewise, in his personal life, Gabriel is taught connection by his wife and toddler, and through his practice of marital arts.
